Alice Terry, 1920s

Mrs. Ingram actually had chestnut hair and bucked teeth; husband Rex transformed her looks on screen with a blonde wig.

  1. Perhaps I'm alone but I actually find Alice pretty! I recently acquired her autograph which I'm pretty excited about.

  3. I doubt you're alone, I've always thought she was pretty. Most of Valentino's leading ladies were at best plain; worse, just short of fugly. Of course, standards change. I'm sure if the people back then saw some of our current stars, they'd freak.
